Daddy far away!

Yes he is sweethearts. Today Daddy left for Tokyo before the Boys woke up. We all miss him like crazy and he hasn't been gone for 24 hours yet. I just checked his flight plan and he is somewhere over Russia right now. He should be landing at around 1:30 our time, 3:30 Sunday afternoon Tokyo time. Yucky! We want him home now!

I explained to the Boys that we have to go to sleep 14 night times before he comes home. That seems like so long for a 30 year old, I think it must seem like forever to a two year old. I am going to make a chart for them to cross off the days until he comes home to help reassure them that he will be back.(And reassure myself.)

I don't think they are quite getting it though. They kept asking for him today or looking for him. Which would bring me to explain again and another round of "Daddy far AWAY"! I told them we would go to church tomorrow and they could go to their "big class"(they moved up from the nursery) and Lex's eyes lit up and he asked, "DADDY???". One of their favorite parts is to go say hi to Daddy while he's playing his guitar and listen to him sing. It's Mommy's favorite part too.

Please pray that he stays safe and returns safely home to us. I miss him so much. I am so incredibly blessed to be married to such a wonderful man and father. And to have a great marriage. I love you so much sweetheart!

I am going to try to sleep now...
